Ok, let me give you the latest on Michael Jackson. His will has been filed in a Los Angeles court and it mentions just about everybody but his ex wife, Deborah Rowe. Debbie, you gets nothing!! His mom, of course, gets guardianship of his three kids and Diana Ross will serve as an alternate.
His estate is worth more than $500 million—the bulk of that is in a music catalogue. Speaking of Michael’s music, he’s still ruling the world. He currently has the top nine spots on this weeks Billboard charts.
Contrary to reports, The Jackson family will not hold a public viewing or private memorial at Neverland this weekend. Instead, there will be a public service in LA—possibly at the Staples Center or the Coliseum.
And now I hear the LA Drug Enforcement Administration is now involved in Michael’s death. We don’t know exactly yet just what they’ll do, but the agency could look into whether Michael’s doctors were even authorized to prescribe certain drugs.
Here we go again with R. Kelly drama! The National Enquirer says despite the Pied Piper being acquitted of child pornography, the investigation ain’t over and that authorities plan to question R. when he returns for his tour in Africa. The word is the po-o went to Kelly’s home to look for the girl who spent several days with him.
Chris Brown is mad about the BET Awards. In fact his peeps say he never had plans to perform at all, but BET asked him and then waited until the last minute to tell him it was off. And apparently it wasn’t just Jigga that wanted him booted from the show, I hear the Rev. Al Sharpton made a stink about it to BET executives and they pulled Chris.
What is Soulja Boy doing?? I hear he’s making life miserable for one older couple in the UK. Apparently, the 10-digit number in “Kiss Me Through The Phone” is the couples phone number and they say they get about 60 calls a day from people asking for Soulja Boy.
The #1 album in the country right now is from The Black Eyed Peas; Ginuwine’s “A Man’s Thoughts” debuted at #9, selling 37,000 copies.
