The King of Pop hasn’t been dead a week, and let the crazy stories begin. First, “The Sun” is reporting there are already people claiming that Michael faked his death and is still alive. There’s even a website dedicated to the conspiracy—www.michaeljacksonsightings.com.
Another site claims that MJ had been planning his fake death for a year and a half and is hiding in Eastern Europe. Ok!! Enough of that. On to the for real, for real…
The little fella who once said Michael Jackson touched him now says he wants to tell the truth. Evan Chandler says for the first time, he can’t bare to lie anymore. He says MJ didn’t do anything to him—that was just his dad trying to get paid. And he did—MJ settled with them for $22 million.
Michael Jackson’s will has been found and he appointed his mom guardian of his three kids and puts all of his assets into a trust fund for the kids. Mike also named two executors for his estate and they aren’t his parents. He named a music executive and a family friend. Now are MJ’s kids really his?? There was some question as to whether Debbie Rowe was a surrogate mom or not? Her attorney has cleared it up.
There are some documents out now that reveal how much money Mike was worth. Back in ’07, he had a net worth of about $236 million, but only some $600,000 of that was in cash. The papers show Mike was about $331 million in debt.
And this story is crazy. According to Michael Jackson’s fan site, 12 fans have committed suicide since Michael passed away last week.
Fans can say their final farewell to MJ at a public viewing at Neverland Ranch this Friday. A private memorial service by his family is planned for this Sunday, then a public memorial service will be July 10th at the US Steel Works stadium in MJ’s home of Gary, Indiana.
In other news, The National Enquirer is reporting that Usher is trying to get a paternity test to see if his youngest son is his. He believes Tameka was getting her freak on with someone else.
Jay-Z has a new deal. He announced a distribution deal yesterday with Sony for his Roc Nation label. Under the deal, Sony will put out Jigga’s upcoming “The Blueprint Three” CD. It’s due in stores September 11th.
Jay-Z’s woman and in-law are hitting the stage together. Beyonce and Solange are teaming up to perform a one night only concert event to benefit their non-profit, The Survivor Foundation. Tickets range from $39 to $1000.
No, say it ain’t so!! Vibe Magazine is going out of business. They say they’re in debt and their advertising dollars are dwindling.
