LOWDOWN FOR TUESDAY MAY 26, 2009

Denied, denied, denied—the word that T.I. has gotten on his jail appeal. Tip has to show up for prison TODAY despite his request for more time to find a facility that was closer to his home. T.I. will have to do his remaining 60-days of his one year sentence at the Arkansas Forrest City Correctional Institute. T.I. had a farewell concert this past Sunday in the ATL—16,000 people showed up. T.I. brought his kids on stage and Soulja Boy came onstage, too. T.I. asked the crowd to pray for him.

On the west coast, Chris brown is supposed to be in court this Thursday on charges he allegedly beat down Rihanna earlier this year. RiRi’s attorney wanted more time to investigate who leaked a police photo of her to the internet and if he can prove it was leaked, he plans to file to have the entire case dismissed. And did you see Chris’ black eye last night at the Magic v. Cavs game? Did RiRi retaliate??

Some sad news for Mike Tyson—his 4-yr-old daughter is on life support. She was found yesterday morning at Mike’s crib with a treadmill cable around her neck. Her 11-yr-old brother found her. Police say it appears to be accidental, but they are still investigating.

Police investigating the murder of rapper Dolla may have some help. They now have the video surveillance tape of the murder when Dolla and two of his friends were at the Beverly Center Mall and ran into the man accused of shooting him in the head. Aubrey Berry says he acted in self-defense and feared for his life. Police say different—that he followed Dolla to LA to kill him. Dolla was buried in the ATL this past weekend.

If you were getting excited about Keyshia Cole’s mom and sister’s reality show “Frankie and Neffe”, forget about it. It may not happen. The word is in order for it to pop off, it has to have Keyshia’s approval and KeKe ain’t feelin it. We’ll see.

Where can you earn $1 million dollars for singing a few songs? At the most luxurious and expensive resort in Europe--the Mardan Palace Hotel located in Turkey. Mariah made a milli for singing two songs.

Denver Nuggets Carmelo Anthony can do more than shoot hoops. He just inked a deal to record a rap album with Block Entertainment—the same label that put on Yung Joc, Gorilla Zoe and Boy N Da Hood.
