Uh-oh, Chris Brown is finally talking! In a video on YouTube, Chris thanks his real fans for supporting him despite all the drama of him allegedly beating down Rihanna.
I hear Chris shot the video at Shaquille O’Neals’ mansion in Miami while he was hanging tight with Shaq, Bow Wow and Chris Tucker. Chris will be in court today where his attorney will set a date for Chris’ preliminary hear on assault charges.
Chris is at the center of another alleged beat down, too. A photographer says Chris’s bodyguards beat him up while he was trying to get pictures of Chris at the gym. He’s suing.
Meanwhile, the word is Rihanna plans to strike back at Chris for allegedly leaking nude pictures of her. Star magazine says RiRi is pulling a “Lisa Left” and has threatened to burn down Chris’ house and leak some not-so flattering nude pictures she has of him AND let everybody know how sexually inexperienced he is.
By the way, I hear Rihanna is starting to take acting lessons for her debut role in a movie called “Personal Protection.” I’ll keep you posted.
C-Murder will be spending some time behind bars. Yesterday, he accepted a plea deal yesterday for shooting at a club owner and bouncer at a nightclub back in 2001. C-Murder pleaded no contest to attempted 2nd degree murder charges. He faces at least 10 years in prison. And C-Murder is still waiting on his retrial for killing the 16-yr-old in a club. Whew!!
Uh-oh, a new reality show is headed our way. T.I.’s fiancé (and no his peeps say they aren’t married yet) and Lil’ Wayne’s baby mama will star in their own reality show called “Tiny and Toya.” It premieres June 15th on BET. We’ll see a sneak peek during the BET Awards in LA where I’ll be next month.
Big up to Diddy—he’s the first rapper to get 1 million followers on Twitter.
Have you had enough of auto-tuner? Well, I hear Jay-Z is jumping off that bandwagon. On his upcoming ‘Blueprint 3’ Jigga says auto-tune has played out and has had all the songs on his album with Auto-Tune removed. Kanye is producing.
The #1 album in the country this week is Em’s “Relapse”, selling 608,000 copies its first week. It’s Eminem’s 5th straight #1 selling album. Method Man and Redman came in #4 selling 63,000 and Busta Rhymes came in #6 moving 59,000 copies.
