It’s official!! Rihanna’s been served with a subpoena and will have to testify in her ex-boo’s assault case. She got served the papers yesterday and is slated to appear in court on June 22nd. Her lawyer says Rihanna WILL answer all questions posed to her in Chris Brown’s case. He’s accused of making criminal threats after he allegedly beat her down back in February.
Another star has opened up to say she was sexually abused as a child. Queen Latifah said in “Essence” magazine, a teenaged boy violated her by watching her. Queen says she kept it to herself until her brother died in 1992 and she could no longer keep it a secret. The latest edition of “Essence” is on stands tomorrow.
Wait a minute, is there a beef between Diddy and Jay-Z?? The word was Diddy was mad at Jigga because of his ‘Death of Autotune’ song. Diddy thought the song would ruin sales of his new CD, ‘Last Train to Paris’ which has tons of autotune songs on it. Well, I found out it’s not true. Diddy says he has no problem with Hov or the song.
Ok, Mathew Knowles…I’mma need you to sit down! I hear he’s demanding that BET pull former Destiny’s Child member LaToya Luckett from their awards show or else he’s gonna pull Beyonce from the lineup. And I hear Beyonce is just as much of a pain as her daddy. I hear she wanted to leave her London hotel to go shopping, so she and all her bodyguards piled into two vans, drove a few feet up the street, made a U-turn and stopped directly across the street from the hotel to at the Harvey Nichols store.
Speaking of making demands, I hear besides demanding that promoters re-create the Neverland Ranch during his London shows, Michael Jackson now wants a boys choir on stage with him. The boys have to be between ages 5 and 13, know sign language and be black, white, mixed and Asian. Ummm—don’t think that’s a good idea.
In couple news, Kanye and Amber Rose are officially over. Ye’s reps told Page Six that they are no longer a couple. By the way, I hear Kanye is directing Drake’s new video for his single “Best I Ever Had.” Rihanna is co-starring.
