Lowdown for Monday June 15, 2009

In rumors gone wild, could it be that one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta be a real pimpette! I hear Sheree Whitfield was recently showing off her new fashion line called “She by Sheree” when one of her male guests says he was propositioned by another male who offered him up to $50,000 if he went upstairs with the man. Sheree says she didn’t know anything about the proposition and refused to talk about it. Now I hear Sheree might be getting sued because the guest felt like his manhood was put in question.

In couple news, Rihanna has been spotted again with Drake. The two were caught on camera in New York going to a Black Eyed Peas concert.

Just how did Nick Cannon win Mariah’s heart? Mariah says once she saw him pray over his fries, she was hooked. Mariah admits not everyone shares spirituality, so when you have that in common, it’s unique. Hummmm, what else do you have in common?? Age? Talent?

Jim Jones is hatin’ on Jay-Z! Jim says he’s not really feelin’ Jigga’s “Death of Autotune” song, saying it sounds like Jigga is just trying to take money away from other rappers. Jim says we make money off of Autotune. He says Jay is just trying to knock a hustle. By the way, I hear Ja Rule is getting back into the game and plans to use autotune, of course.

No, Kim Kardashian sit down!! Kim says she constantly gets offers from producers to be a singer. So now Kim says she wants to try it. She says she’d like to make music like Britney Spears and J. Lo with and R&B twist. How about NOT!!!??

Not so good news for Lil’ Wayne. A judge in LA has shut down Weezy’s attempt to keep a company from releasing a film on his life. Weezy says he was supposed to have the final say before the movie was released and wants it stopped, but the judge said I don’t think so and ordered Wayne and his attorneys to pay a $5000 fine.

Africa—get ready!! The Pied Piper is coming to you. For the first time, R Kelly is touring Africa. His first show will pop off at a fashion awards show in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Auditions have started for the next round of “American Idol.” It started yesterday in Boston. Auditions continue in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Orlando, Denver, Chicago and Dallas.

The #1 movie at the box office was the comedy “The Hangover” that raked in $33 million; my boo didn’t come in first, but Denzel Washington’s “The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3” came in #3 with $25 million and Eddie Murphy’s new flick “Imagine That” came in #6 with $5.7 million.
