It goes down today in an LA courtroom when Rihanna testifies against her ex-boo Chris Brown! The preliminary hearing will be closed to the public and the media wont’ even be allowed to even enter the courtroom. Of course is in court to answer to felony charges he beat down Rihanna back in February.
Speaking of Rihanna, you know she’s been seen a lot lately his with Canadian rapper Drake who says they’re just friends. Anyway, Drake is expected to announce this week just what labåel he plans to sign with. Meanwhile, you can catch Drake, Lil’ Wayne and Young Jeezy on tour in the “Young Money Presents” America’s Most Wanted Music Festival.” It’ll be in Raleigh August 8th at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre.
OMG! I just went on Twitter to Dorion’s page—you know the cat from BET’s College Hill @ South Beach?? All I can say is ‘gooo-ooooood!!!’ He’s nasty. He obviously took some pictures of himself and a hacker got into his twitter pics and has now posted them for everybody to see. For adults only—Dorion’s twitter address is ‘Dorionbet.’
Wait a minute—do I hear word that Lil Wayne’s having money problems??? Well, actually I hear his new film with Forest Whitaker has been put on hold because of budget problems. It’s called “Hurricane Season”—the true story of a high school basketball team made up of several New Orleans high schools after Hurricane Katrina. The word is the production company has run out of money so no word on when it’ll be complete.
Another star is looking to have a baby and no daddy or no marriage. Now, I hear Kelly Rowland wants to adopt. Kelly admits she DOES NOT want a baby, but a child a little older that perhaps, 5, 6 or 10. Kelly says she wants a big family of five!
Foxy Brown has done her time at Rikers Island and is still causing drama. Some say Foxy wasn’t as bad off as she made it out to be. I hear Foxy could pretty much do whatever she wanted. She was allowed to wear her Gucci sneakers and Fendi scarf; she got unlimited phone and TV privileges and prison officials would even bring her food and makeup. Now the prison is in trouble for allowing Foxy to give an interview to “XXL” magazine just before she got released.
Queen Latifah and Common?? The two are starring in a movie together called “Just Wright.” Queen plays a sports trainer who falls in love with an injured pro basketball player—played by Common. It’s due in theatres next year.
The #1 movie at the box office over the weekend was the new Sandra Bullock flick “The Proposal”, that raked in $34 million. It’s Sandra’s first #1 movie in 10 years. The #2 movie was “The Hangover” that raked in $26 million; the #3 flick was “Up”.
