The world is a different place now that the King of Pop is gone. A 2 ½ hour memorial service with more than 20,000 attending was a homegoing service for Michael Jackson. Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Brooke Shield and the entire Jackson family of course were there offering outstanding tributes. Even Michael Jackson’s daughter had something to say.
In other MJ news, they’re calling it the fastest biography written ever. Two Chinese Michael Jackson fans just wrote a biography about MJ. It’s 130,000 words and it took them just two days to write it. And the book is already in stores, hitting shelves only nine days after he died. I hear there are already 10 other publishers planning to do instant biographies on Micahel Jackson.
Michael Jackson was clearly a legend!! His solo albums sold 800,000 copies in the US in one week that ended this past Sunday. Jackson dominated the Top Pop Catalog Albums chart and last week had a record 8 albums in the top 10. This weeks Top 10 are all Michael Jackson.
Ok, on to who Rihanna’s dating now? No it’s not Drake, not its not Orlando Magic’s Rashard Lewis, but maybe Jay Brown. Who is he?? He’s one of Jay-Z’s good friends, former talent scout and artist developer. So does that mean at one time he was Rihanna’s boss??
Ri-Ri’s old boo, Chris Brown has found a new love—Kanye’s girl Amber Rose. They’ve been hanging tight lately and Chris was seen recently sporting a new chain. It’s about $300,000.
Diddy seems to have his hands full these days. He was kicking it hard at a White Party in Beverly Hills with both Cassie and Kim Porter—oh and Kim brought the twin girls, too. How uncomfortable—your ex-girlfriend and your non-girlfriend AND the kids!!!!
