Got the latest on Michael Jackson and the question of the day is: Was it homicide or overdose?? LA authorities are trying to find out just how the King of Pop died and say they won’t know until toxicology tests are complete. And depending on what they reveal, it could mean some charges filed.
In the meantime, we still don’t know where the King of Pop will actually be buried. Family members are keeping it on the hush.
Everybody else has chimed in on the little girls dancing behind Lil’ Wayne during his BET Awards performance, why not Toya—Lil Wayne’s baby’s mama. One of the little girls on the stage was her and Weezy’s daughter. Toya says that’s not the kind of father-daughter reunion she wanted to see on stage, but also said Weezy is a good daddy and didn’t think the act was intentional—that Wayne was just trying to make his daughter happy because she wanted to be on stage with her daddy.
Speaking of Lil’ Wayne, he’s getting sued for sleeping through a concert. A promoter said Weezy didn’t show up for a concert in the Bahamas last year. The word is Weezy passed out in his hotel room. The promoter says it cost him $432,000. Weezy’s manager says that’s all garbage!
In rumors gone wild, you know everybody says both Nivea and Lauren London are both carrying Lil’ Wayne’s babies. Well, last week Lauren was at Diddy’s White Party showing off her bump. Not to be outdone, Nivea was out this week with some of her girls and her big belly. I’ll have pictures on the Maddhouse blog.
All this talk about babies…say it ain’t so. Not little Raven. The word is Raven Symone has had a baby by her gay bestfriend. The word is actress Jurnee Smollet’s brother reportedly donated his sperm to Raven. But Raven’s peeps have already said ain’t none of that mess true!
And another rumor going wild is Keyshia Cole’s mama is a true cougar. The word is Frankie is engaged to her 22-yr-old boyfriend—Frankie is over 40, ain’t she? I hear she already has his name tattooed on her lower back and the two plan to marry Monday. Frankie’s show premieres on BET August 25th.
Not so good news for Brandy. I hear she just lost her record deal with Epic and Roc Nation says they’ll no longer manage her. Though there’s talk that Brandy actually plans to go to Roc Nation.
Meanwhile, Jigga is close to signing a book deal. It’ll be a lyrical breakdown of his songs.
And who are the kings of cash in hip-hop? Forbes magazine says Jay-Z tops that list, making about $35 million dollars in the last year. The #2 hip-hop earner is Diddy with $30 million; #3 is Kanye West with $25 million; and tying in at #4 was 50 Cent and Akon with $20 million.
And new movies in theaters this weekend, Sacha Cohen’s new flick “Bruno”; “I Love You, Beth Cooper” and “Blood: The Last Vampire.”
