Alright—Nick are you REALLY ready to go after Eminem?? You know Em dropped a song for Nick and his wife Mariah Carey called "The Warning.” In it, Em says he's got voicemails and pictures of Mariah as evidence of their relationship and asks "should I keep going or should I call truce." Nick has responded via Twitter and quoted the Bible. Nick says "Never take your own revenge, but rather give place unto the wrath. For it is written vengeance is mine, I will repay.” Nick added, quoting Eminem himself, "If you feeling froggish, leap." And ended it with "Y’all know where to find me. Trying to save a hater is like trying to teach astrophysics to a wino." We’ll be waiting.
Look out! Monica is about to have her own reality show. It’s self-titled and will premiere October 27th on BET. Her new album “Still Standing” is due this fall.
Speaking of reality shows—you know T.I.’s fiancee and Lil’ Wayne’s ex have their own show. Now I hear T.I. and Weezy’s daughters want their own show. Little Reginae and Deyjah have asked to team up to be on the tube. I’ll keep you posted.
She’s fighting again—I’m talking about Foxy Brown. She just got out of jail for hitting the owner of a beauty supply store and now the word is she’s back on lock down after assaulting a young girl in Jersey City.
And then there’s supermodel Naomi Campbell—who apparently hasn’t learned much in her anger management classes. She’s accused now of attacking a photographer and scratching the guy’s eye. The photographer says Naomi slapped him and hit him with her handbang while he was trying to take pictures of her on vacation in Italy. Naomi says, ‘It wasn’t me.’
A quick update on Drake and his knee. I hear he’s back in his hometown of Toronto to have knee surgery. Drake’s been blogging saying he doesn’t know what other damage he’s done by not listening to doctors, but says he’ll use his recuperating time to do some soul searching. The Young Money tour went on in Toronto last night without him.
I DO hear Chris Brown made an appearance at the Young Money tour when it hit Virginia Beach over the weekend. I heard Chris filled in for Drake on the song “Every Girl” and paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson by moonwalking to “Billie Jean.” No word if Chris will continue on the tour. I’ll keep you posted.
And sp actor Shemar Moore is recovering from an injury, too. He was hit by a car while bike ridng over the weekend and broke his leg. He’s doing ok.
And the Goodie Mob is coming back on stage. Big Gipp, T-Mo Goodie, Khujo and Cee-Lo will perform at the ‘Remember Atlanta’ Festival September 19th in the ATL.
