Let’s see what’s happening in twitterville. First, Keyshia Cole’s mama Neffe has put “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Kim’s phone number on the twitter and I called it and all I heard was a country song that clearly wasn’t Kim because this female could actually sing.
And Kandi from “Real Housewives” has tweeted updates on her fiance’s 13-yr old nephew who was injured when a drunk driver slammed into the car he was riding in. She says he was in ICU for about a month and had to learn to talk and walk all over again. She says he told them the whole time he was unconscious God and three angels were visiting him. She plans to post more on her blog on bravotv.com.
Seventy days later and Michael Jackson is finally buried. About 200 guests were invited yesterday to the Glendale, CA cemetery to pay their last respects. Some other big names are buried there like Walt Disney and Nat King Cole. MJ’s death has been ruled a homocide and criminal charges are expected.
Supermodel-turned-TV host Tyra Banks is getting sued by her former assistant. Richard Thomas says he wants his $5,820 in back wages. Richard says he was not only an assistant but Tyra’s advisor and wants to be paid for his services.
Chris Brown is bad-mouthing Oprah. Chris says he wasn’t really feelin’ O’s episode about domestic violence and felt it was a slap in the face. Chris says, “I did a lot for her, going to her school in Africa and performing.” Meanwhile, Oprah says thank you very much, Chris, but I don’t play when it comes to domestic violence.
Biggie’s had his movie on the big screen, now it’s Tupac’s turn—well, not exactly. Pac’s mom and the production company are still battling over who had rights to the movie. That case is now going trial..the date is April 13, 2010.
He’s a beast on the court and apparently not too bad in the studio either. Three songs from LeBron James’ documentary are already on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts. LeBron’s documentary comes out September 29th; his movie hits theatres October 2nd.
There’s a “Bad Boy 3” in the works. I hear Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are already looking at the script.
Speaking of movies, new movies in theatres this weekend the thriller “Gamer”, horror flick “Carriers” and the comedy “All About Steve.”
