Well, she’s been off the music scene for seven years and is still doing big!! Whitney Houston’s comeback album “I Look To You” is the #1 album in the country right selling 305,000 copies its first week. It’s Whit’s fourth #1 album.

 

Her mentor Clive Davis says he was surprised.

 

Meanwhile, Ne-Yo says stop hatin’ to all the music fans and critics who say Whitney’s voice isn’t quite what it used to be. Ne-Yo wrote some tracks for Whitney on this album and says all that talk doesn’t really matter.

 

Meanwhile, Ne-Yo is in a battle—with space aliens. He just finished up a role as a fighter pilot in “Red Tails” about the Tuskegee Airmen. Now Ne-Yo’s playing a corporal defending LA against aliens in the sci fi movie called “Battle: Los Angeles.” It’ll be released in 2011.

 

Whitney is doing it big and so is Lil’ Wayne. He’s had the most successful hip hop tours this year. His “I Am Music” and “America’s Most Wanted” tours did 78 dates in front of 804,000 fans and raked in about $42 million. And Billboard says it’s the highest-grossing rap tour in its history!!

 

Well, Diddy did it!! Now 50 Cent wants to change his name. Fif tweeted recently, “50 Cent is a person I created, soon it’ll be time to destroy him and become somebody else.” Will it be Curtis Jackson?

 

T-Pain is explaining why he dissed Jay-Z. He says he really didn’t mean the ‘F you’ to Jigga when he was ranting in Vegas last week, but says he just wanted to get Jay-Z’s attention because he felt disrespected after Jay-Z performed “DOA” at the summer concert in New York. T-Pain says he’s been trying to get Jigga to call him for two months and wants to work with him.

 

 

Now Trey Songz, you don’t want any of R. Kelly. Trey is on the attack again, saying once he gets his longevity up, he WILL BE the greatest R&B singer in the game. Trey called Kels ‘old’ and when it comes to lyrics and wordplay, he’d crush R. Kelly. Meanwhile, R says Trey doesn’t even deserve a response. He says,"What is an elephant gonna do when an ant or a fly lands on them?”
