Let’s get the lawsuits and arrests out of the way first. First arrest—Soulja Boy was cuffed in Atlanta for running from the cops. It seems he and about kids were hanging out behind an abandoned house. When the po-po got there, the kids fled the scene, except Soulja Boy left his Range Rover and had to come back to the scene. Soulja says he was just shooting a video, but the po-po nailed him for obstruction and for running from them. He was released the next day.
Ok, now on to lawsuits—I hear Chris Brown is getting sued by Wrigley—they apparently want their gum back. The company kicked Chris to the curb after his violent incident with Rihanna and lost millions, now they want to get back what they lost in tv and print ads. They’re suing him.
Oprah is getting sued, too. TMZ.com says a former flight attendant who flew on Oprah’s private jet is suing Oprah and two other flight attendants for accusing her of having an affair with a pilot. She and the pilot were fired for inappropriate sexual behavior, but the woman says it’s a lie and wants $75,000 in damages.
Uh-oh, things getting ugly between Usher and Tameka. Usher says ‘She broke the windows out my car.’ Actually, Usher says Meka scratched up his truck after they two got into an argument over custody of the kids. Meka was gone when the police got there.
If you wanted to see more of Tiny and Toya, you will. The word is BET picked up a second season of the reality show and want to start shooting immediately before T.I. gets out of prison. I hear T.I. hates the way the show makes Tiny look and plans to do everything he can to end production when he gets free.
Speaking of T.I., he was a big winner over the weekend during taping of the BET Hip-Hop Awards in the ATL. T.I. picked up Album of the Year for “Paper Trail” and Best Collabo for “Live Your Life” with Rihanna. Jay-Z got MVP of the Year, while Drake won Rookie of the Year. Meanwhile, despite being nominated for 9 awards, Kanye West didn’t win any and was a no-show. The BET Hip-Hop Awards will air October 27th.

Well, Shyne says he’s never spoken to Diddy, he’s never visited him nor would he even accept a phone call or visit from him. Shyne just did 9 yrs. for a shoot-outside a NY club. Diddy was acquitted in the case. Now Shyne is fighting to stay in the states. Immigration officials want to deport him to Belize. To fight it, you can sign a petition—go to IPetitions.com.
Michael Jacksons single “This Is It” is now available on MichaelJackson.com. The track debuted at midnight last night.
The #1 movie at the box office over the weekend was Vince Vaughn’s comedy “Couples Retreat” that raked in $35 million. The #2 flick was “Zombieland” that made $15 million. And it only took $15,000 to make it, but “Paranormal Activity” came in #5 making $7 million—that’s an average of $44,000 a theatre.
