It’s gonna be on and poppin’ tonight as two of America’s most talked about celebrity couples hit the tube to talk about all their drama. Rihanna is on ABC’s 20/20 saying how she was ashamed that she not only fell in love with Chris Brown, but that she kept going back to him.
While Rihanna spills her guts on ABC, her ex-boo Chris Brown will do the same on an MTV Special called “The Interview: Chris Brown.” Rihanna’s interview airs 10pm on ABC; Chris’ interviews air 6pm on MTV.
Speaking of Chris Brown, he’s not getting to much love on his “Fan Appreciation” tour. Fans aren’t so appreciative. I hear ticket sales have been really slow. He’s supposed to kick off the tour in Houston next Friday, but he’s not even close to selling out. I hear you can still get up to 50 tickets at a time for opening night. His reps believe tickets sales will jump.
Ticket sales will definitely jump when Jay-Z comes to the Carolinas with his “Blueprint Three Tour.” He’ll be in Greensboro February 28th at the Greensboro Coliseum. By the way, Jigg and Alicia Keys will release “Empire State of Mind Two” on Alicia’s upcoming album. It drops December 15th.
A quick hit in couple news—I hear Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush are moving closer to making it official. I hear both have put their homes up for sale and are looking for a place together.
Uh-oh another beef in hip-hop. This one between Foxy Brown and Lil’ Kim. Foxy has released a single, not yet titled where she’s making fun of Lil Kim on “Dancin’ With The Stars.” Check it out.
Ok, Foxy—let it go, boo.
Oprah says ‘No more BeBe on my show!!’ TMZ.com says Oprah has actually banned BeBe Winans from ever coming on her show until he resolves that domestic assault case with his ex-wife. You know BeBe allegedly hit his ex back in March. Oprah has also said Chris Brown can’t come on her show either. NO WOMAN BEATERS ALLOWED!!
And I hear Oprah could be calling it quits—NO SAY IT AIN’T SO??!! Her syndication contract with King World is almost over so the word is she could move her show to her OWN network. That’s a cable outlet she’s been creating with the Discovery Channel.
Oprah and Tyler Perry are behind the new movie that hits theatres this weekend. “Precious” is about an illiterate African-American girl who gets pregnant by her father and abused by her mother.
Also in theatres this weekend—“The Man Who Stares At Goats”, “Disney’s A Christmas Carol”, “The Box” and “The Fourth Kind.”
